Integrate your TowneBank online accounts seamlessly with Quicken with our One-Step-Update/Direct Connect service exclusively for Towne-Biz users. Or easily download your account information with Web Connect for both Towne-Biz and Towne-Biz Plus users.


Overview

Use Quicken with your TowneBank accounts to:

  • Manage expenses
  • Get One-Step-Updates through Towne-Biz and Direct Connect*
  • Transfer funds between TowneBank accounts using Quicken (Towne-Biz with Direct Connect*)
  • Pay bills from your TowneBank accounts using Quicken (Towne-Biz with Direct Connect*)
  • Categorize spending
  • Create custom reports
  • Consolidate information for tax purposes

Quicken can be purchased from your favorite retailer. TowneBank will support the current version of the software and up to two previous versions.

With Towne-Biz

If you’re a small business owner managing your own finances, you might use Towne-Biz Online Banking.  Among  other things, Towne-Biz allows you to see your personal and business accounts side by side.  With Towne-Biz and Quicken, members can take advantage of the following:

  • One-Step-Updates with Direct Connect – This service allows Quicken to communicate directly with online banking.  You don't have to sign into Towne-Biz and manually download transactions - Quicken does this for you. Direct Connect also provides the convenience of transferring funds or paying bills with your TowneBank accounts, directly from within Quicken.  Direct Connect is available only to Towne-Biz users and is free for the first 3 months and $10 per month thereafter.
  • Downloads with Web Connect – Take advantage of free downloads of account information into Quicken.  Simply log into Towne-Biz, select your account and select ‘Export’ to download your transactions into Quicken.

Open your Quicken software to Get Started!

Have your Towne-Biz User ID and Password ready to set up One-Step-Updates/Direct Connect in Quicken. For more detailed instructions, refer to Quicken’s User Guide regarding creating accounts and enabling them for One-Step-Updates with Direct Connect.

With Towne-Biz Plus

If you’re managing the finances of a Business with more sophisticated needs, you may be using Towne-Biz Plus Online Banking.  Among other things, it allows for multiple users, various permission levels and access to Treasury Services like wires and ACH payroll payments. With Towne-Biz Plus and Quicken you can access:

  • Downloads with Web Connect – Take advantage of free downloads of account information into Quicken.  Simply log into Towne-Biz Plus, select your account and select ‘Export’ at the bottom of the page. Quicken will manage the import process for you.
