Sign up for text or email alerts!  Log into your TowneBank credit card account. Select 'Alerts' from the main menu and choose to receive notifications by text message or email.  


Set up Email or Text Alerts 

Consider for signing up for card and account alerts to stay informed about activity on your account. You will get timely information delivered to you via text or email.  

Steps to Enroll in Balance Alerts 

Towne-Personal/Biz users  

Balance notifications sent via email or text* provide a simple solution that are free and easy to use. 

Turn on Text Alerts Through Towne-Personal 

  • Select ‘My settings’ in the upper right-hand corner  
  • Then select 'Alerts and Notifications'                                                           

If you'd like to set up text alerts, follow the on-screen instructions to enroll your mobile device and select the alerts you'd like to receive. 

Business Online Banking Users 

Getting started is simple. Log into Business Online Banking, select 'Alerts and Notifications' from the 'Additional Services' menu. Verify that we have your most recent contact information by selecting 'My Settings' from the top right-hand corner. From there, review your contact information and make any necessary changes to your email address. To update your primary address or phone number, contact your hometown banker.   

Available alerts include: 

  • Balance alerts 
  • Payment due 
  • Payment past due 
  • Check cleared 
  • Maturity date 
  • Personal reminders 

Business Online Banking users can implement anti-fraud features for wire and ACH transactions. Protect online wire transfers and ACH transactions with dual control or requiring a one-time passcode generated by an external token. 
Looking for additional fraud detection? Monitor against suspicious check activity through our Positive Pay services or implement ACH Block or ACH Control to prevent unauthorized ACH transactions posting to your account. 

Control Your Debit Card Anytime, Anywhere

SecurLOCK Equip App for Business

SecurLOCK Equip is a mobile app, available for Android and iPhone, designed to allow you to manage your TowneBank Business Debit Card. With SecurLOCK Equip You can:  

  • Turn your debit card off or back on 

  • Set transaction controls  

  • Get alerted when the card is used 

  • Set spending limits  

  • Prevent fraud 

Card Control for Personal Debit Cards

Use Card Control to receive instant notifications whenever and wherever your card is used. Available in Towne-Personal online and mobile banking.  

Simply download the TowneBank Mobile Banking app for your Android or iPhone or log into Towne-Personal Online Banking. 

From the App 

Once the TowneBank Mobile Banking app is downloaded, select  'More'  from your navigation menu, then select 'Card Control'.

From Your Desktop 

Once logged into Towne-Personal Online Banking, navigate to 'Additional Services', then select  'Card Control'.
