TowneBank celebrated its newest Richmond area office located in the Short Pump Town Center with a grand opening event on June 14, 2023.

An audience of over 150 people enjoyed remarks from Brian Skinner, TowneBank President and Regional Banking Director for Virginia and Northeastern North Carolina, TowneBank Richmond President Pat Collins, and Thomas Branin, Three Chopt District Supervisor.

As Brian Skinner shared with guests, “We are thrilled to finally bring our services to Short Pump and Henrico County and become an integral part of this amazing community. TowneBank was built on the values of integrity, innovation, and excellence. We are eager to serve the people and businesses in this community with these values at the forefront of what we do every day.”

TowneBank purchased the 8,000 square foot building in March 2022 and renovated the space to house a full-service banking center with private, commercial, and retail bankers, as well as offices for treasury and merchant services. There are future plans for TowneBank Mortgage and Towne Insurance to be onsite.

TowneBank is known for its high-touch banking services, with financial professionals available and accessible to businesses and individuals when and where they are needed. Branch manager Reggie Crawford joined TowneBank in 2022 to hire the ideal mix of banking talent that would help this office stand out from the competition. Joining Reggie and his retail staff are private banker Arlen Penfield, commercial banker Shareema Williams, and merchant services advisor Annie Gonzalez.

TowneBank’s commitment to the community extends beyond the newly renovated building and grounds and hiring of local professionals. In keeping with the bank’s tradition of giving back, TowneBank presented charitable donations to two local organizations. Recipients were the Henrico Community Food Bank, which is dedicated to delivering food assistance to the 30,000 residents of Henrico County who are food insecure, and Better2gether RVA, which provides support services to families of children diagnosed with complex medical illnesses.

“TowneBank is committed to serving others and enriching lives in the neighborhoods we serve, including the community surrounding Short Pump,” says Reggie Crawford. “As manager of this new TowneBank location, my goal is to get out and introduce myself and to build relationships throughout the community. We are proud to support organizations that have an immediate and longstanding impact on the well-being of individuals living nearby and in the greater Richmond area.” BACK TO NEWS
