URL Update
If you saved (bookmarked) the URL for the Old Point Online login page, you will need to save the new one when we transition to Towne24 on June 22.
Updated Login Dropdown Options
TowneBank.com
If you log in to online banking through TowneBank.com, when this change goes live, you will select Towne24 from the login menu. The Old Point Online option will no longer be available.

Quicken, QuickBooks® & Plaid Users
As we move to Towne24, there will be short periods when services are temporarily unavailable, and you will need to update a few settings. We’ve included detailed instructions to help you with the steps.

Plaid Exchange Users
If you have linked TowneBank accounts using Plaid Exchange, you will need to re-link the account following the URL update on June 22.

Old Point: Powered by TowneBank Mobile App
If you use the 'Old Point: Powered by TowneBank' app, you will see a new icon for the app as part of this change. This should update on its own if your mobile device allows for automatic updates.
If you use your fingerprint or face to log in, you will need to enter your username and password one time to log in after the update. After that, you can turn your fingerprint or face login back on and keep banking just like always.

Old Point Online will transition to Towne24 on June 22, 2026.

Before the change, we recommend that you do the following:
- Log in to Old Point online and verify the email address associated with your online profile is up to date.
- If you normally log in using your fingerprint or FaceID through the mobile app, please note your username and password before the change. On your first login after the change goes live, you will need to enter your username and password and re-establish your login preferences.
After the change, you will need to do the following:- If you have the current login link for Old Point online saved, which is currently secure.oldpoint.com/oldpoint, you will need to update it to the new TowneBank branded one when it becomes available.
- We will share the new link in email communications and on TowneBank.com on the day it goes live.

On the day we rename the system, the experience in Towne24 will be very familiar to what you are used to today. However, with this change, we will build the foundation to introduce new enhancements to make your online and mobile banking experience better and more efficient.

Members who use Quicken or QuickBooks may experience a brief service interruption of approximately 3–5 days during the transition. We know how important these tools are, and we’re committed to making this as smooth as possible. Clear, step‑by‑step instructions will be shared in advance, along with guidance on what to do once the transition is complete, so you’ll feel prepared and supported every step of the way.

You may need to enter your username and password the first time you log in after the update. We recommend writing down or saving your login details before the change, just in case. If you use Face ID or fingerprint login on your phone, you will also need to sign in with your username and password and set that up again. -
Yes. Inside Towne24, you will have a better view of your loan, including more details about your balance and payments. We also offer a service called Loan Pay Plus. This lets you make loan payments quickly and easily—from a TowneBank account or another bank account. It gives you more ways to pay when it works best for you. -
