Phil Rudisill
Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Officer
As Chief Credit Officer, Phil is responsible for the day-to-day oversight and administration of the bank’s loan portfolio, establishing internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure quality. In addition, he has oversight of regional credit administration, real estate credit and support, automobile dealer finance, and credit analysis and small business lending teams.
Phil joined TowneBank in 2006 as a seasoned banking professional and quickly became a leader on the credit team. Prior to joining TowneBank, he held several positions with other banking institutions across Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida.
Phil is a graduate of the University of Virginia and the North Carolina School of Banking. Active in the community, he is the past president of the Portsmouth Partnership, Portsmouth Community Foundation, and Portsmouth Museums Foundation; a former board member of Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce (Portsmouth), Portsmouth Schools Foundation, and Churchland Rotary; and a graduate of the Vann H. Lefcoe Leadership Development Program, as well as past president of its alumni association.
