TowneBank Welcomes Varun Chandhok as Chief Information Officer

TowneBank welcomes Varun Chandhok as senior executive vice president and chief information officer. He is a member of the corporate management team based at the TowneBank headquarters in Suffolk.

Chandhok brings decades of industry experience to TowneBank, most recently serving as the chief information officer at WesBanco Bank and the chief information and operations officer at Premier Bank. Prior to those roles, Chandhok had a 22-year career at M&T Bank, where he held multiple business-line CIO roles in technology leadership supporting several key areas, including consumer banking, commercial banking, and corporate functions. Chandhok received his undergraduate degree and MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.
