I want to take a moment to recognize Bank Officer Jackie and Bank Teller Cierra for the amazing service they provided me. Both were very professional and respectful while making sure I was the correct customer before allowing a withdrawal from my account. Even though all I had with me at the time was my veteran ID, they went above and beyond to verify my identity and still made sure I was able to access my money. They showed a strong commitment to protecting my account while also showing care and understanding for my situation. Their professionalism and dedication really stood out and deserve recognition.

From the customer experience POV, Towne Bank seems to be very siloed. There was a problem with my auto draft loan payment, so a loan officer called me to inform me there was a late fee. They said I needed to pay this separately from my monthly payment or "it will mess everything up." However, the late fee amount wasn't showing on my online statement. I asked them to advise on next steps and was told I needed to come into the banking center to make the late payment and get my account up to date. This seems antiquated compared to other banking experiences. While at the banking center, the Member Services Representative didn't have access to the information needed to get my account up to date – they had to call in the loan officer in order for me to make the correct payment amounts. Additionally, I asked the Member Services Rep if they could confirm that my next auto-draft payment amount/date was showing in their system, to which they replied they could not confirm that info, and that I would need to call Member Services. To a customer reading that person's title as a Member Services Representative, this is confusing and frustrating. TO that person's credit, they did take the time to call 'the right' Member Services Rep to confirm that my auto-draft was showing as I intended it to.
