Your Checklist to Transition to TowneBank

For your convenience, we have provided a list of items you'll want to complete or monitor as we move closer to February 9, 2026, the date Old Point systems and accounts will transition to TowneBank.

Online & Mobile Banking

  1. Confirm all contact methods are updated within Old Point's systems. We will communicate about upcoming online and mobile banking changes through email and system notifications using email and phone numbers associated with your online banking profile. 

  2. If you use FaceID or Fingerprint login to access mobile banking, please make sure you know your current username and password. On February 9, you'll need these credentials to log in for the first time and re-enroll in biometric login.

Steps to Prepare for Debit Card & Account Changes

You will receive your new TowneBank debit card on or after January 26. You can activate it on or after February 9.

Order TowneBank checks for your personal and business accounts. Your first order of personal checks is complimentary. Receive $125 off business check orders. 

Account Changes >>
routing number
Update the routing number to 051408949 on authorized deposits and withdrawals by December 31, 2026.

safe deposit boxes
Move safe deposit boxes to TowneBank if the Old Point location you normally visit is being consolidated with a nearby TowneBank location.
