Steve Jones

Steve is responsible for the continued growth and executive oversight of the North and South Carolina offices for TowneBank, in markets that enhance the company’s strategic journey down the fast-growing Interstate 85 corridor from Richmond, Virginia, and into Greenville and the upstate region of South Carolina. His role is also pivotal in introducing TowneBank to the coastal Carolina markets of Morehead City, Wilmington, Fayetteville, and Charleston, South Carolina. A graduate of East Carolina University, Jones has over three decades of banking experience and served as a market leader with multiple national banks before founding Dogwood State Bank in 2018, which would join the Towne family in 2026.
