You can send, request, or receive money with Zelle®. To get started, log into your mobile banking app and select “Send Money with Zelle®”. Following the prompts, enter the information requested, accept the terms and conditions, and you’re ready to start sending and receiving with Zelle®.
To send money using Zelle®, simply select someone from your mobile device’s contacts (or add a trusted recipient’s email address or U.S. mobile phone number), add the amount you’d like to send and an optional note, review, then hit “Send.” In most cases, the money is available to your recipient in minutes1.
To request money using Zelle®, choose “Request,” select the individual from whom you’d like to request money, enter the amount you’d like to request, include an optional note, review and hit “Request”2.
To receive money, just share your enrolled email address or U.S. mobile phone number with a friend and ask them to send you money with Zelle®.

Real-Time Payments provide TowneBank consumer and business members the ability to immediately receive Real-Time Payments from accounts at external financial institutions anytime, 24/7/365, delivering real-time access to funds within seconds. Real-Time Payments are often referred to as Instant Payments.
The benefits of Real-Time Payments on the RTF network are:- Convenience: The RTP network is live and operates 24/7 with no cut-off times, which allows Towne Bank members to receive payments around the clock, including weekends and holidays. Instant payments are available 24/7/365 apart from planned maintenance windows.
- Immediate Availability: Recipients receive the payment within seconds of the sending bank initiating the transaction; TowneBank will make funds available immediately, except where necessary for risk management or legal compliance purposes.
- Payment Certainty: Sending financial institutions are not able to revoke or recall a payment once it has been authorized and submitted. However, there is a process to facilitate communication between the associated financial institutions around return of funds sent in error.

No. RTP payments clear and settle individually in real time with immediate finality. Same day ACH payments are processed in batches and settle after the payments finally clear. RTP payments can be transmitted any time for immediate settlement, whereas same day ACH batch must be submitted within specified timeframes to meet desired same day settlement deadlines.

Any institution participating in the RTP-The Clearing House or FedNow Network. TowneBank is a network participant with receive payment capabilities. At this time, TowneBank members cannot send Real-Time Payments to other institutions from their TowneBank account.

Yes! TowneBank offers SBA 504 loans* that are backed by the Small Business Administration.
SBA 504 loans are a long-term, fixed-rate financing solution. Businesses that apply for an SBA 504 loan must meet some requirements such as:
- Be a for-profit business operating in the United States Meet SBA small business size standards for your industry
- Prove that your business cannot get similar financing elsewhere
- A Certified Development Company (CDC) that provides up to 40% of the financing (guaranteed by the SBA)
- A third party lender that provides 50% of financing
- A borrower who contributes at least 10% of financing

To locate your Zelle® QR code, log into the TowneBank Business Mobile Banking app. In the main menu, select "Send money with Zelle®." Click "Send," then click on the QR code icon displayed at the top of the "Select Recipient" screen. Navigate to "My Code." You can view and use the print or share icons to text or email your Zelle® QR code.
