Denys oversees the entire technology operations and development for TowneBank and our family of companies. Denys also leads the bank’s information technology team and initiatives, cybersecurity, and business continuity efforts.
Denys joined TowneBank in 2016 when Monarch Bank and TowneBank joined. With over 25 years of financial technology leadership experience, Denys has also spearheaded technology efforts in organizations like Lloyds TSB, Hillcrest Bank, and Lone Star Bank.
Born in Cuba, Denys moved to Florida when he was 15. With a developing interest in technology, he earned his bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Florida International University. He is also a graduate of Virginia Bankers Association School of Bank Management.
