Quicken® & Quickbooks® For Personal Online Banking

Farmers Bank Online Banking will transition to the TowneBank Personal Online Banking system on April 17, 2023. This will require changes to your Quickbooks or Quicken software to ensure a smooth transition. 

The instructions below reference two "Action Dates". Please note these dates and the steps you need to take: 

  • Friday, April 14 - Perform a final transaction download before 5:00 PM
    Perform a data file backup and final transaction download by 5:00 PM on April 14. This will ensure your final download is completed before the Farmers Bank Personal Online Banking system becomes unavailable at 5:00 PM that day.

  • Monday, April 17 - Activate Your Connection to TowneBank Business Online Banking
    You will complete the deactivation/reactivation of your online banking connection to ensure your current Quicken or Quickbooks accounts are set up with the new connection.

Reactivation Instructions 

Intuit aggregation services may be interrupted for 3-5 business days. You are encouraged to download a QFX/QBO file during this outage. The following services may not be available during the outage: 

  • Quicken Win/Mac Express Web Connect 
  • Quickbooks Online Express Web Connect 
  • Mint
