17th Fall Extravaganza Transported Guests to Italy
A beautiful fall evening created the perfect setting for the TowneBank Foundation Fall Extravaganza on October 18, 2025. Guests escaped to the rolling hills of Tuscany with no passport required. It was a truly enchanting evening where the charm and elegance of Tuscany met heartfelt generosity.
Every year, the Fall Extravaganza is recognized for its outstanding food, drinks, and entertainment, and 2025 was certainly no exception. Local chefs served up area favorites with special flair, including Bay Local Eatery, Boards and Moore LLC, Calypso Bar & Grill, Centerplate, Decoy's, Gelati Celesti, Joysicles, Mason's Lobster Rolls, Pollard's, Rodman's, Simply Sweet OBX, Smithfield Station, Taste, Vintage Tavern, and Yummy Goodness. Guests also enjoyed a variety of hand-crafted cocktails and could toast la dolce vita with a glass of Chianti.
The Big Beyond brought their electrifying sounds to the dance floor while there was entertainment galore with Heads & Tails, corn hole, night glow golf, college football on the big screen, plus photo flip books and a 360-photo booth. Everyone was eligible for one of eight spectacular grand prizes and a chance to win a $1,000 cash door prize.
As guests strolled through the Silent Auction, they were greeted with the warmth and wonder of a Tuscan celebration. Each item was hand-selected – from a customizable golf cart and elegant jewelry to dream-worthy getaways.
While Fall Extravaganza is always a fun, lively, and memorable event, from the beginning there has been a bigger purpose – making a difference in the communities TowneBank serves. In October 2025, we danced and dined the night away and, in the end, we raised more than $800,000 for the TowneBank Foundation, supporting hundreds of nonprofits across Virginia and North Carolina.
Special thanks to event co-chairs Alexis Swann, Peninsula and Williamsburg president, and Dave Hare, Chesapeake president. The TowneBank event management team led a committee of volunteer employees who oversaw sponsorships, volunteers, the silent auction, the employee raffle, and the onsite food drive benefiting local food banks.
