TowneBank is a longtime supporter of Day of Caring, an annual event hosted by the United Way that connects volunteers with organizations in need of support. With the help of volunteers, organizations can use funds and time typically allocated to these tasks, like cleaning, painting, organizing, and landscaping, in a more meaningful way.
In Charlotte, Towne family members visited Baby Bundles where they helped sort and pack items for Bundle Bags. Baby Bundles provides a bag full of dozens of baby essentials to mothers in need as they leave the hospital with their newborn. Founded in 2010, Baby Bundles has helped hundreds of parents in the Charlotte region.
Thank you to all our volunteer champions who organized projects and recruited volunteers in Virginia and North Carolina. We have received so much positive feedback about the amazing impact our volunteer groups made at nonprofits that are serving the needs of our communities every day. We appreciate everyone who took their time to volunteer for the annual Day of Caring.
Since its founding in 2010, Baby Bundles has helped hundreds of families in the Charlotte region.
