Exciting News from SouthPark

The SouthPark landscape and skyline have exciting changes in store, with several commercial neighbors unveiling new building projects as part of the larger SouthPark Forward 2035 Vision Plan. TowneBank announced plans for its new SouthPark office in the spring, with demolition clearing the way for a new, state-of-the-art space. During construction, our SouthPark team has temporarily moved one block away to 2101 Rexford Road.  

The new TowneBank office in SouthPark will serve as the bank’s headquarters in Charlotte. The 75,000-square-foot, five-story building will house TowneBank on the first floor. 

Once construction is complete, the 75,000-square-foot, five-story building will serve as the TowneBank headquarters in Charlotte. Co-owned with Harris Investment Company, the building will house TowneBank on the first floor and welcome other Charlotte businesses to lease additional space through First & Early Partners. The project also features a four-story parking structure that will connect to the office building by a covered walkway. Pathways will be created to provide easy access to nearby attractions, such as Symphony Park across Carnegie Boulevard.  

As Dogwood State Bank comes under the TowneBank name in November, the new SouthPark headquarters will provide plenty of space for our growing family of bankers and insurance, mortgage, wealth management, and trust professionals.

TowneBank SouthPark is in a temporary location at 2101 Rexford Road, just one block away.

We look forward to welcoming our Charlotte neighbors to the new headquarters, with a planned opening in 2028, and continuing to serve you from our temporary SouthPark office, along with other locations in Myers Park and Ballantyne.
