Dear Friends,
As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of America, our TowneBank family is grateful and thankful for the ideals and opportunity we have been afforded through the visionary presence of our forefathers 250 years ago.
Only in America could a small group of community bankers without the support of Wall Street, join hands and hearts with their friends and neighbors and set in motion a plan to build what would become a $22 billion bank serving Main Street communities in Virginia and the Carolinas.
Banking is one of the oldest businesses in the world. By its very nature, banks were designed to safeguard money, provide capital to businesses, finance homes, and be the cornerstone in building strong communities throughout America.

While banking in America has become increasingly national, technologically sophisticated and efficient, it has also become less locally oriented.
Here at Towne, we are dedicated to being a community asset in every community we serve. Our daily focus is having everyone who comes through our doors experience a warm sense of belonging as we seek to protect their financial well-being. Yes, we embrace technology enhancements in meeting your daily banking requirements but never as a substitute for knowing you, your family, and business associates on a personal level.
Your trust, friendship, and loyalty represent our greatest asset. Thank you for being a part of our Towne family.
God bless America!
Most Sincerely,
G. Robert Aston Jr.
Executive Chairman
