Elevating Training to the Next Level
Nonprofit organizations are treated to some excellent training to help them succeed, thanks to the NextLevel Nonprofit Leadership Conference hosted by TowneBank and moss+ross.
Three conferences have taken place so far, two in 2025 and one in 2026. Leaders from organizations including YMCA of the Triangle, Hilltop Home, A Place at the Table, SAFEchild, North Carolina Arts in Action, Camp Corral, and the Junior League of the Triangle have all attended the daylong session. Participants then become part of an ongoing nonprofit cohort made up of members and prospects where they can share successes and challenges.
Some of the topics covered at the conference include core areas critical to nonprofit success:
- Board Management: Build and sustain strong, effective boards.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement an actionable roadmap for your organization.
- Funders Panel: Learn what funders seek when considering whether to make an investment in your organization.
- Fundraising and Messaging: Diversity revenue streams, craft compelling narratives, and enhance donor engagement.
- Managing Your Staff: Foster an engaged, high-performing team.
Participants have time to reflect on their own leadership practices, share insights with other nonprofit leaders, hear perspectives from area funders during a lunchtime panel discussion. moss+ross, a recognized leader in supporting North Carolina’s nonprofit community, leads discussion topics at the conferences.
