TowneBank Foundation Golf Tournament Sets a New Record
Billy Foster, John Fruit, Andy Rivenbark, and Bob Aston celebrate the record-setting funds raised at the annual golf tournament to support the TowneBank Foundation.
The annual TowneBank Foundation Golf Tournament teed off on May 21 at the Riverfront Golf Club, with golfers gathering at the TowneBank headquarters in Suffolk, located along the course. The tournament raised a record-setting $217,000 to support the TowneBank Foundation, bringing the grand fundraising total to over $2.2 million since the first golf outing in 2001.
Our thanks to longtime tournament co-chairs John Fruit and Andy Rivenbark for their dedication to putting on a first-class event that supports the mission of local charities through the TowneBank Foundation. The Foundation provides grants and donations to hundreds of organizations each year.
