Congratulations to Ky Bishop, who was selected for an Inside Business Top 40 Under 40 award. This marks the 27th year Inside Business has committed to highlighting and celebrating the top young business professionals in Hampton Roads. Ky serves as assistant vice president and systems analyst in Technology.

CoVaBIZ recognized Hillary Smith with its NextGen award. Each year, CoVaBIZ asks the business community to nominate young professionals who are leading the way and making a difference in Coastal Virginia. Hillary serves as vice president and branch manager of TowneBank’s Hillpoint office in Suffolk. She has been part of the Towne family for 15 years.

Congratulations to Charity Volman-Winn, who was recognized with the Virginia Business Women in Leadership award. Charity is president of TowneBank Norfolk and has been part of the Towne family since 2019. This is the 5th year that Virginia Business has celebrated professional women with impressive careers.

Ute Heidenreich, president of Towne 1031 Exchange and TowneBank general counsel, has received a trio of recognitions. She was selected by Inside Business for their Women in Business award. Virginia Lawyers Weekly chose Ute for its In-House Counsel award, and Coastal Virginia named her a Top Lawyer for 2025.
