Remote Deposit: Steps to Log In

Remote Deposit
Step 1: Select the Remote Deposit option from the Secure Login Module on TowneBank.com. You will be prompted for your User Name and Password.
 

Step 2: Enter your User Name and Temporary Password emailed to you. These credentials are created by your Company Administrator during user set up.

Step 3: At the time of your first login you will be prompted to set up a series of security features including a unique passphrase and challenge questions. Your passphrase may contain a mixture of letters, numbers or special characters but must be at least 20 characters long.  Choose your security questions from the drop downs provided, or type in your own in the provided fields and provide your answers. Click Continue to move to the next step.   

Step 4: If you are using a trusted computer, be certain to check the box to Register this device for future use. Then, select Continue.

Step 5: Review all of your information that you've entered, confirm this information by entering your Temporary Password in the last field on the page and click Continue

Step 6: Next, you will be prompted to change your password. First, enter your Temporary Password in the field labeled Old Password. Then, provide a new password and click Continue once it is confirmed. Password requirements are: 8 characters long and can contain a mixture of letters, numbers and special characters. Also note that you will be prompted to change your password every 90 days. 

Upon completion, you can now successfully log into the system.
