    Domestic wires allow you to send or accept money to and from most financial institutions; within the United States.  International Wires allow you to send or accept money to and from most financial institutions outside the United States.

    Written authorization is required to send both domestic and international wires; fax in the wire transfer form or visit the nearest TowneBank location. Please review our current wire transfer fees listed on our Schedule of Fees.
  • An ACH is similar to a wire transfer, only it uses a batch-process. Transactions received by the bank are processed and funds are not available in the beneficiary account until the effective date.

    A wire transfer is a real-time method of transferring immediate funds and supporting information between two financial institutions.

    Make a Wire Transfer
    • Log in to Business Online Banking
    • Navigate to the Money Movement tab
    • Click Wire
    • Fill in the following information:
    • Wire Type
      Funding Account
      Send Date
      Amount
      Currency Type
    • Click Continue and follow the prompts to complete the wire
    Looking to complete an ACH transaction? Log in to Business Online Banking, navigate to the Transfer and Paymentstab, and choose an option from the ACH menu.

  • No, the $100,000,000 limit is per transaction. The limit would apply for each transaction within a file. As long as you follow this guideline, your file may contain multiple $100,000,000 transactions.
  • You can view the following TowneBank accounts within Business Online Banking:

    • Certificate of Deposit (CD)
