TowneBank Mobile App

When you use our TowneBank Mobile App, we may track non-personally identifiable information to analyze the usage and functionality of our website. Some features included in digital banking may request access to data located on the device used to access digital banking. This may include biometric, camera, contacts, and location data. You will be prompted to allow access to this data, and if access is not allowed, the feature requiring that data will not be fully functional. For your reference, details are provided below:

The following data may be used to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies:

  3. Your internet protocol (IP) address
  4. The services you use within our mobile app
  5. The date and time of your login
  6. The device you use to log into our mobile app

Data Linked to You

The following may be collected and linked to your identity:

  2. Location information (based on I.P. address)

For your reference, a function of our Mobile App, PulsateTM, collects the following information so we are able to communicate with you about services within your local area and/or app service notifications:

  • Location based on your I.P. address
  • Device Type
  • Pulsate creates a random user GUID upon initial app access, which is later used during every connection with Pulsate. This GUID is unique for each device/app and changes after every app reinstall. This ID is used for identifying a user and sending campaigns.
  • Product Interaction – Pulsate tracks user’s app entry, app exit, and pages viewed within the app.
  • Name – Pulsate collects user’s first name for product personalization purposes.

Use of Cookies
